Grant Oakes www.grantoakes.com hosted this SWB workshop with great gusto! He has been a wonderful friend and he was the first I called when I came up with this style of workshop. For the first SWB I think it came off nicely. It was 96 degrees outside and we shot in the shade. The attendees came away with the most amazing imagery!! The models were fabulous! One pro model and two past brides. We all went over to Travis Broxton’s www.broxtonart.com studio for pizza and beer and editing for the next days critique. Back to Grant’s studio for 6 hours of critique and Q&A the next day. Many of the attendees told me that they got as much or more from the critique section as they did from the model shoot.
