The Oregon workshop was a blast! Our wonderful host Sara, invited Kassandra, Asia and I into her home. They have a baby girl (Lily Rose) just a few months older than Asia. They looked like sisters and had fun together. They have 3 little steps going from their kitchen into the living room. Asia had a blast going up and down them (her first time). Corvallis was a really cool little town with big trees and brick houses.
Sara’s husband Joe works at the college and got us permission to shoot a model in the football stadium. I jumped at that and was glad I did. What a cool place to shoot! No one was there and we had the run of the place. I love that kind of thing!! Cold windy breezeways and steel structures and LINES! The lines were everywhere!! I pulled out the red veil to stand out with the green grass of the field. Fun!
Later on that day we showed up at a ranch. They were working on the ranch to become a wedding venue. It would rain and stop (with great sun rays) and then rain again. No problems! It just made the sun more dramatic!
We had the second day critique in an old train station fixed up for meetings. Loved it!
Angela helped host also and I loved one of the shots she took! It is the first one I will post here. Wow!
Thanks everyone for a great workshop!!
Here are some of my favorite shots from many of the photographers at the workshop.
